Karma, And Racism From A Dysfunctional Perspective.
Karma
noun
Karma is energy. A person or a group of persons throws out energy through thoughts, words, and actions, and it comes back, in time, through other people. Karma is the best teacher, forcing people to face the consequences of their actions and thus improve and refine their behavior, or suffer if they do not.

Karma and Racism
We are by nature inherently good, possessing Love as one of our Spiritual Gifts.
Thanks to our efforts, intentions, and behaviors Karma has many areas of our lives to work from. Karmic energies are stored and will be released and dealt with accordingly. Examples of negative energies are dis-eases, crimes such as explosive energy towards another, domestic terrorism, national and international treatment towards each other ( ie) domestic violence, drug dealing, mass shootings in schools, churches, and shopping centers, mass destruction on the streets in broad daylight such as drive-bys, elder and child abuse, wars, ecology ( how we treat our oceans, rivers, gardens, trees, etc.) maiming another, hurting another. Mother Nature speaks to us via climate which some of us have the notion we can control the climate or Mother Nature. There is no way, as of yet, to control the Mother of Nature… The Source of All There Is.
Racism From A Dysfunctional and Codependency Family Perspective.
Racism is a consciousness containing two main ingredients: Codependency and Dysfunctionality.
Codependency is a psychological issue where family members sacrifice their health or well-being to suit the needs of another, or simply put “ to suit the needs of the sick individual”. Examples of codependent behavior are often found in abusive relationships, in which the codependent family members submit to poor treatment of the “sick individual” regardless of the danger or harm.
Dysfunctional: What is a dysfunctional home and family? Let us use The USA as an analogy of the dysfunctional home and we are the family. Dysfunctional families have some unique aspects to the home environment that make it a rather unsatisfying place for families to grow and thrive. Because the dysfunction is seen as "normal," it also becomes part of an ongoing cycle where families in dysfunctional environments grow up to create their own families with dysfunction.
Within any dysfunctional household, there are ways and means of task completion on any given day. Racism is a negative consciousness that stunts growth and needs to be healed for the sake of the abuser yet more importantly for members of the household. Families learn how to maneuver their way around the dysfunction of racism.
Although the family finds it annoying that the dysfunction of racism is in charge, the family is adapting and working its way around the behavior within the environment. There is a treatment for racism and healing for the family. In general, the treatment‘s length and intensity of any unresolved issue are determined by (1) how long the issue has existed and (2) to what damage the unaddressed issue has caused or created.
There are specific focused 12 step support groups for any behavior which creates disharmony in the household. These support groups identify the feelings of powerlessness that hold family members hostage creating suppressed anger, health issues, mental health issues, and rage, to name a few.
The following are helpful tools for anyone with dysfunctional behavior which creates a negative environment are applying the spiritual steps and their principles.
The first four steps and principles of all 12 step anonymous groups are:
1. I admit I am powerless over being a racist and my life is unmanageable. The principle is acceptance,
2 Came to believe that a Power Greater than myself can restore me to sanity. The principle is hope.
3 Made a decision to turn my life and will over to the care of God, as I understand God. The principle is faith.
4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of myself. The principle is courage.
Our society could benefit highly from the development and application of the racist persons suffering from Racism/ Reverse Racism. I realize the concept of support groups for racism seems out of the ordinary, but racism is out of the ordinary and we must fix it.
